Doug

Doug is looking for an experienced dog owner who have owned quirky terriers before. He would like access to his own private garden where he can enjoy off lead time away from other dogs. Doug needs to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Doug is a sweet boy who is friendly with any person he meets. He is affectionate and enjoys a fuss but can be independent and like his own space at times so he wouldn’t be suited to a home where there are children. He is still full of life despite being an older boy and enjoys chasing after his favourite squeaky ball or playing a game of tug. Doug can be reactive to dogs so he requires an understanding owner who will continue to work on his training in this area and be prepared to walk him in quieter areas or at quieter times. He won’t require long walks, but he does still like to be kept occupied and loves his enrichment sessions that involve a tasty filled kong.

Doug hasn’t had an easy time, and he truly deserves to live out the rest of his retirement in a loving home with someone who will accept him for who he is.
