Copper

Copper is looking for an active and experienced owner who has had a cheeky terrier in the past. He would like a home with a private garden so he can enjoy some outdoor space away from other dogs. He needs to be the only pet in an adult only home, and he would like a home where he won’t need to be left alone for long.

Copper is a lovely boy who will be a fantastic pet for someone who has experience with terriers. He is very energetic, he loves going for long walks, and would really enjoy going running or hill walking. He loves visiting the beach and is always happy to play with his toys. He loves people that he knows but can be a little wary of stranger so needs a little time to make friends. He likes company and loves attention, but he has an independent nature so isn’t too clingy. Copper gets stressed around other dogs and can be reactive around some, so he would enjoy walks in quieter areas where less dogs are around. He is muzzle trained and is very happy to wear one when walking in areas he will see other dogs.

During his stay with us Copper has received treatment for a sore ear. More information will be shared with matching applicants.
