Bolt

Bolt is looking for a very special home with an experienced owner who have owned collies before and understand their traits. He will need to be kept company all day to allow him to decompress and fully settle in. He requires access to his own private garden in a rural area, so he doesn’t become too overwhelmed by his environment. Bolt is looking to be the only pet but might be able to live with teenagers aged 15 and over.

Bolt is the sweetest, sookiest of boys who, although can be bouncy loves, human attention and being made a fuss of. He would happily have you sit in his bed with him for lots of snuggles before he drifts off for a snooze. He is still very much a collie though who will require plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep his busy mind occupied and, once settled in, he may really enjoy going hill walking or running. He also thoroughly enjoys his enrichment sessions which he will love to continue having is his new home.

Bolt does have collie quirks which means he can become easily overwhelmed by fast movements so requires a very patient, understanding owner who are prepared to walk him in quiet areas and are keen to work with him get on the right track of making a fantastic companion. He does want to please though and will choose human attention or cheese over any toys which will help motivate him when working on his training.
