Alfie is looking for someone who has had strong dogs before. He would love access to a garden where he can potter around till his heart is content and may be fine to be left for a short while once settled in. He would like to be the only pet in an adult only home.

Alfie is a friendly, good-natured gentleman who takes life at his own pace. He can be a little shy of unknown people to begin with but likes a treat so is quick to win over. Whilst mostly content doing his own thing, he is playful and likes chasing after a ball. He is generally unfazed by the world around him and is a simple soul who enjoys the simple pleasures in life- from a comfy bed to nice walks, he will be a great addition for someone not looking for an overdemanding companion.

Alfie had some ear treatment during his stay with us which did, sadly, leave him a bit worried by his ears being touched. Whilst this hasn’t changed his good nature, it does mean that he needs an understanding owner who will keep his experiences positive should he require any more treatment in the future. More information about Alfie’s ear treatment will be discussed with successful applicants.
