Meet Cooper

No more interest. Cooper has been very popular and  we are now unable to accept any new interest for him. Please have a look at our other animals for rehoming.

Cooper is looking for an experienced dog owner who will commit to working with a dog trainer to help overcome his anxiety. He may suit a home with high school aged children, and he will need an active family who will give him plenty of exercise.
Cooper is a nervous boy who finds life after lockdown rather stressful, and he needs someone who will help him make good decisions when he’s feeling anxious. He will need time and patience to adjust to life in a new home, and he’ll need a few visits to get to know his new owners before going home with them. He is looking for a home with a secured private garden so he can enjoy some time outside in a safe space away from the stresses of the outside world. When he’s around people that he knows, Cooper is very affectionate and is lots of fun to have around. He’s a playful boy and he loves chasing around after a tennis ball. He is also very energetic and will need plenty of long walks and runs, and when he’s gained some confidence he would benefit by doing an activity like Flyball. He is nervous of other dogs so would prefer to be the only dog in his new home until he gains some more confidence. He would not suit a home with cats.
