Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home would like to invite local business representatives to expand their networks and connect with other professionals at our virtual networking event, Petworking. The event is open to everyone and our playful twist on networking is that we encourage those with pets to bring them along (although this is of course not compulsary). So, whether you choose to join us at your desk with a coffee, on your morning dog walk or with your cat on your lap, our inclusive setting will help you to expand your network with the opportunity to hear from an inspiring guest speaker followed by engaging break-out room networking.
We are thrilled to welcome this month’s guest speaker Regina Vereker, owner and founder of Confident and You. Video Coach and trained actor with over 22 years in film and theatre, Regina has a wealth of experience and knowledge on how to help put across your best self-onscreen when interacting with people.
Communicating over video is now considered the normal way to conduct business at this current time. We are all using it in some form, whether it is video calls, livestreams, attending webinars, presenting…. Even Petworking! Join us to hear some hints and tips from Regina on how to feel more confident, comfortable, and authentic in front of the camera.
How You’ll Help Us
It costs around £2 million every year to run Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home’s essential services. The Home receives no regular government funding and relies on the generous support of the public, companies and charitable trusts to fund its work.
Tickets can be booked via the link at the top of the page and you will be sent the Zoom details via email.
