Our Partners

The support received through Corporate Partnerships is invaluable to the Home. With no regular government income, and with annual costs of £2 million, we must work extra hard to keep our doors open, and by partnering with the Home, you are helping us to do so.

Promoting the work of our Partners and the support they provide the Home is at the forefront of our messaging when promoting the relationship. See below for some of the amazing businesses that are kindly supporting our cause.

Pawthereum is a community-run charity cryptocurrency project focussed on supporting animal welfare organisations and being a digital advocate for animals in need. Pawthereum gifted the Home 26 Ethereum, (approximately $118,000USD or £87,000GBP) in order to fund our Pet Foodbank service, Paws Pantry, for the whole of 2022.

Auld Connections

Auld Connection are a business from Edinburgh on a mission to bring you fun and colourful designs! Inspired by travels in Scotland and beyond, Owner Fiona Cowie has designed a card range inspired by cats and our lockdown home gym sessions, zoom calls and more. With each card sold, £1 will be donated to the Home. If you are a fan of cats, hairy highland coos and adventures around Scotland, check them out!

The Devil’s Bean Coffee Co.

The Devil’s Bean Coffee Co. are delighted to have teamed up with the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home to bring you Paw Beans Coffee, available in full strength and Decaf, beans or ground and £2.45 from every bag sold goes to the Home.

Jenier Teas

Charity Box is owned by Jenier World of Tea, selling high quality gifts and items to help raise funds for charity. The Home are delighted to be one of their chosen animal charities, check out our Charity Box page to pick either a separate item or a gift box. The items include a selection of Jenier Tea, COCO of Edinburgh, Isle of Skye Candle, Henry’s Coffee Company and Jackmans Journals.

Club Backdrops

Club Backdrops create professional portable backdrops for food photography, product photography, portraiture, flat lay, fashion, video & social. They have teamed up with the Home to donate 10p per backdrop unit sold.


NatWest, is a major retail and commercial bank, have chosen The Home as their 2021 Charity of the Year. The team in the Core Solutions Platform Management department will be fundraising through a variety of events throughout the year.

Unicorn Sweet Boxes

Unicorn Sweet Boxes has teamed up with the Home to donate 30p from each Handmade Dachshund Sausage Dog Bracelet sold.

Fetch Eyewear

Fetch Eyewear UK has chosen the Home as one of their animal charities to donate £2 from every pair of glasses sold. They are very proud to be able to carry on the work of their US partners who have been supporting the The Pixie Project for over 5 Years and have helped hundreds of animals back to health and into a new home.

Abercorn Vets

In 2019 Abercorn Vets, in partnership with Braid Vets, became Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home’s veterinary providers. Like the Home they have a long history of serving the local community, having been established over 50 years ago with their first surgery in Portobello. Their close proximity to the Home means our animals will have quick and easy access to exceptional medical care. Abercorn have since opened other surgeries located in Raeburn Place, Stockbridge and Gilmerton.

Braemore Sales and Lettings

Braemore Sales & Lettings have been great supporters of Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home.Scott Webster, the Head of Estate Agency won the 2018 Top Dog Title at our In the Dog House event, raising an incredible £1,863 over the course of the day.

Braid Vet

Braid vets are a much-respected practice within the Edinburgh community, and along with Abercorn Vets make up the Home’s veterinary partners. Braid Veterinary Hospital was the first veterinary hospital to be registered in Scotland by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has particular interests in the fields of veterinary surgery, dentistry, internal medicine and behavioural problems.

Crafty Kit Company

The Crafty Kit Company are proud to support Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home this year with their Create Your Kitty virtual event. With each needle felting kit sold, £10 was donated to the Home. The event successfully raised £1,000.


Forrit are a technology company who have supported Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home for a number of years. Through fundraising activities, volunteering, attending fundraisers and offering us use of their office space. Forrit help ensure the Home can continue its vital work. Founder and CEO Peter Proud was on the Board of Trustees offering his expertise from 2018-2021.

Gilson Gray LLP

Gilson Gray LLP have been supporting Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home since 2018. Murry Stewart, Partner and Head of Real Estate, serves on our Board of Trustees.


Last year, our pals over at Heehaw created some brilliant films for us – they were even nominated for the Partnership of the Year award at Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce’s Business Awards! We got some of Scotland’s top talent involved in the form of comedian Iain Stirling and actresses Laura Main and Karen Dunbar, as well as worldwide running sensation Dion Leonard – known for the heart-warming tale of Finding Gobi.

Persie Distillery

Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home have partnered with Persie Distillery and will receive a £1 donation for every bottle of charity Pusscat Vodka sold.

Pusscat Vodka is an unflavoured premium vodka at 45% volume. It has a clean and round velvety mouthfeel, with faint hints of fresh herbs and a tiny pinch of black pepper. The finish is silky smooth – just like a pusscat!


With Petplan insurance in place, adopters can concentrate on getting to know their new companion, safe in the knowledge that financial help is available to cover the cost of any unexpected veterinary treatment as they start their adventure together.

Scottish Design Exchange

Scottish Design Exchange is a local social enterprise supporting artists across Edinburgh and Glasgow. Over 2020, Scottish Design Exchange Edinburgh will be launching an art project in support of the Home, where artists will donate all profits from the project. This will also help us raise awareness in the local area.

Pets at Home

Pets at Home Craigleith have chosen the Home as their 2021 Charity partner. The Pets at Home Foundation partnership means that we are able to build awareness in the community and raise vital funds for the cats and dogs in our care.

Zettle by PayPal

Zettle by PayPal is a Swedish company on a mission to help small businesses. The Edinburgh branch of iZettle is supporting Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home for a quarter this year, with internal events and fundraising initiatives.
