As a charity that receives no Government, lottery or statutory funding, we rely on generous donations to fund the care of Edinburgh and the Lothian’s lost and abandoned dogs and cats. With running costs of almost £3,000 per day, regular gifts give us the security to meet our existing financial demands, and continue to grow our much-needed services.
Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home will never put a healthy dog or cat down or give up hope of finding a permanent loving home for each of them. Our animals wait patiently for their new owner to walk through our door – many for weeks, months, or even years. During this time, we provide essential veterinary care, food, shelter and lots of love. By making the commitment to donate on a regular basis, you are helping us to provide this vital care to those who need it most.
