Star is Looking for Love this Valentine's Day

13/02/2018

One of our long-term residents, Star, has put together a dating profile to help him find love this Valentine's Day.

Star

I’ve been single for a while but now I feel ready to fully commit to a human companion. I’ve had my heart broken in the past so need someone who is ready to commit to making the relationship work.

I’m 42 in human years (that’s only 6 in dog years though!) and have come to the realisation that kids aren’t for me. I also want to be the only animal in your life.

I’m a huge football fan and love a kick about in the garden. I like having my own space so it would be great if I could have my own man cave to relax in at home after we’ve been out playing football.

I like to think of myself as a lifelong learner and if you think you could teach me a thing or two then we could be a match made in heaven! I’d especially love to learn new ways to help me deal with my anxiety when I’m around other dogs.

I love snuggling up for cuddles on the couch at the end of a long day and would be a great companion.

If you think that we could be compatible or want to know anything else about me, drop me a message!

Is this the UK’s unluckiest dog?

He’s been crowned the nation’s favourite breed and captured the heart of a celebrity, but a staffie called Star may also be the UK’s unluckiest dog.
