Black Cats are the New Black

18/10/2017

With Halloween just around the corner and black cats unfortunately being synonymous with all things witchy and spooky, we decided to put our thinking caps on and share our top reasons to love black cats (and none of them are to do with magic or superstition!):

1. Black is chic, it’s slimming, everyone looks good in black and it never goes out of style. Black cats really are the only choice for the fashion conscious.

2. Their black fur helps make their eyes pop and makes them look even more intriguing. Why do you think they called the reflective road markers cat’s eyes?

3. Black is a great conductor of heat, so black cats are perfect to snuggle into as the colder nights draw in.

4. If you’re in touch with your artistic side, you could always try recreating the famous Chat Noir painting with your black cat taking centre stage!

Sadly, black cats often get overlooked for other coloured moggies in our Home but we love them and you should too!

We are open for rehoming visits Mon-Sat 10am-3.30pm so please come down and see for yourself if you think you could give one of our black cats a forever home.
